Of Cliques and Algebra

I think Cliques and Algebra are almost the same thing:

Algebra involves alot of "X"s and "Y"s.

Cliques involve a lot of "No"s and "Why"s.

In algebra, you can only add A to A. You can't add A to B.

In cliques, A clique people only stick with A clique people and form double the power (A+A=2A). They never stick with B clique people (A+B=A+B).

You can however multiply A by B in algebra. (AxB=AB)

Same thing with cliques, A Clique people can cross over to B clique and they form a combined AB Clique.

You can divide A by B in algebra. (A/B = A over B)

Cliques can be divided too. But it will always result in a dominant clique. A clique divided by B clique equals A clique reigning over B Clique.

In algebra, other than "X" and "Y", there's still "n".

In cliques, other than "X" and "Y", there's still "Anne".

Algebra is unavoidable in life unless you are a caveman.

Cliques are unavoidable in life too, unless you are a caveman.

There is one obvious difference between Cliques and Algebra though:

You always have to form equations in Algebra. (A=B or A=C) That's why it's Algebra.

You can never form equations with cliques. (A Clique never equals B Clique). That's why they're cliques.

I like Algebra. I like Cliques. (:

I don't like difficult Algebra. I don't like mean cliques. (:

The essential question is, is Algebra good or bad? Are cliques good or bad?
